I've been creating music for 30+ years on various devices such as the Amiga, Atari ST & PC as well as recording music in software such as Logic, AXS & Impulse Tracker.
Please find out more about my recording/creation devices below with links to samples of my music, for your delectation.
The sound quality of my tunes took a massive jump when I went over to PC first, then Mac. Software instruments and real time effects and audio recording was so impressive at the time. However maybe it wasn't as fun as the ST / Amiga days...
I bought an Electribe Sampler 2 a few years ago. It has issues. However more recently I found it was fun to compose on.Here are some examples of what I've done with it so far...
Impulse tracker was an MS-Dos based tracker on the PC. I made lots of tunes on this software as I was used to trackers on Amiga originally. Thought I'd lost them all but found a random cd backup and therefore they are alll here :)
The legendary Atari ST with Sequencer One Plus. Paired with the X5.I got an X5 for Christmas 1994 and could finally make high quality sounds using it sequenced from the ST. Some of my coolest stuff was done on this combination.
I got an iPhone 4. I could use Nanostudio to make amazing dance stuff on a phone!I was really excited about the possibilites this gave me for mobile music creation, and have made lots of tunes on iPhone and a few on Android (Caustic is the saviour of Android music making). Check some out here.
